God,
I’m feeling so weighed down by the things I’ve done and the ways I’ve been hurt by others. Forgiveness feels like a mountain sometimes, and I don’t always know how to start climbing. Help me to let go of the anger and the bitterness that clouds my heart. Grant me the courage to forgive those who’ve wronged me, and also to forgive myself for my own mistakes. I need your wisdom to see things from a different perspective, and your grace to understand that it’s okay to be imperfect. Remind me that forgiveness is a gift I give to myself as much as to others.
